PointingSnapper1Welcome to Nursery and Pre-Prep Schools

Picture Train has developed a range of photography based learning resources to support The Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) produced by the Department for Education.

Our intrepid Snapper features in the resources and helps show the children how to capture great Photographs.

These resources have been translated into fun and creative workshops aimed at children aged from 2 – 5 years.  They incorporate lots of practical tasks so the Children have hands on experience of using cameras and creating photographs – both inside and outside the classroom.

If you are interested to see an example of typical workshop content, contact us and we will be happy to share this with you.

In addition to the practical life-skill learning opportunities provided by taking photographs, the art of photography provides a simple and accessible way for children to creatively express themselves. It also provides a meaningful way to listen to Children by viewing children as experts in their own lives. See Listending to Children – The Mosaic Approach.
